Enphase Energy AC Battery Limited Warranty – United Kingdom

This Limited Warranty is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty provided by Enphase Energy, Inc. (“Enphase”) for Enphase Energy AC Batteries (SKU: IQ7-B1200-LN-I-INT01-RV0) connected to the internet via (i) a standalone Enphase Envoy™ (with Wi-Fi) or (ii) an Enphase Combiner 3 with embedded Enphase Envoy (with Wi-Fi), each referred to as an “Envoy” product.

This warranty is in addition to statutory rights under UK consumer laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If your AC Battery is defective or non-compliant with the contract of sale, you may claim either under UK consumer law or this Limited Warranty.

UK Consumer Laws
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must:
(i) match their description,
(ii) be of satisfactory quality, and
(iii) be fit for any disclosed purpose.

Consumers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, discount, or refund. These remedies are the responsibility of the seller. If you purchased your Battery from a third-party reseller, you must contact them directly. In England and Wales, rights expire six years from delivery; in Scotland, five years.

Limited Warranty Overview
This Limited Warranty consists of a Workmanship Warranty and a Capacity Retention Warranty, subject to limitations and exclusions. It applies to Enphase Energy AC Batteries (i) connected to the internet via an Envoy, (ii) purchased from Enphase or an Authorised Reseller, and (iii) installed in the United Kingdom.

Claims must be submitted via the RMA process (see Section 6). This warranty applies to the original End User or a Transferee, provided the Battery remains at the Original Location and a Change of Ownership Form (with applicable fee) is submitted within 30 days of transfer. 1. Warranty Period
The Warranty Period begins on the earlier of (a) nine (9) months after the Battery's manufacture date or (b) installation at the Original Location, and ends after 10 years or 3,650 fully discharged cycles (whichever comes first). A full discharge cycle equals discharging energy equal to the Battery's energy capacity. Repaired or replacement Batteries must be installed and connected within 90 days to retain coverage.

2. Workmanship Warranty
During the Warranty Period, under normal use, the Battery will (i) conform to its specifications and (ii) be free from defects in workmanship and materials. Claims must be submitted within 90 days of defect discovery.

3. Capacity Retention Warranty
The Battery will retain the ability to store and discharge a cumulative average of at least 80% of its rated capacity, provided that:
(i) the Average Annual Internal Temperature does not exceed 23°C in any rolling one-year period, and
(ii) the Ambient Temperature does not exceed 55°C for ≥24 continuous hours, 60°C for >1 hour, or 70°C at any time.

Battery capacity is based on 1.2 kWh as measured at <10A and 25°C (±5°C).

4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply if:

  • The Battery is not registered and connected to the internet via Envoy within 15 days of the Warranty Start Date.

  • The Battery loses internet connection for more than 15 consecutive days.

  • The Battery is not installed/used as per installation/user guides.

  • The internal or ambient temperature limits are exceeded.

  • The defect occurs after the Warranty Period ends.

  • The claim is made more than 90 days after discovering a defect.

  • The Battery has been altered or repaired without approval.

  • The Battery has suffered damage from external events (e.g. fire, water, voltage spikes).

  • The defect is caused by other system components not supplied by Enphase.

  • Serial numbers or trademarks are removed or tampered with.

  • The defect occurs during shipping after the Battery is sold to a reseller.

Also excluded:

  • Labour costs for installation, removal, or troubleshooting.

  • Cosmetic wear and tear that does not affect performance.

  • Noise or vibration not affecting function.

  • Theft, vandalism, or End User/Transferee system issues.

5. Remedies
If a defect is confirmed under the Workmanship Warranty, Enphase will either repair/replace the Battery or issue a prorated credit/refund based on market value. Repairs/replacements may use new or reconditioned parts of equal or better performance.

For Capacity Retention claims, Enphase may issue a prorated credit or provide a repair/replacement. All actions are at Enphase’s discretion.

6. RMA Process
Claims must follow the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) procedure outlined at:
www.enphase.com/warranty

7. Assignment
Enphase reserves the right to assign or novate this warranty to a qualified third party.

8. Limitation of Liability
Enphase is not responsible for unforeseeable losses or damages not caused by its fault. This warranty excludes liability for business losses, such as loss of profits or business interruption. Nothing in this warranty limits Enphase’s liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or statutory consumer rights.

9. Governing Law
For purchases in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland, this warranty is governed by English law and subject to English courts. For Scotland, Scottish law and courts apply.

10. Severability
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining terms remain valid.

Delivery & Returns

Order Confirmation: As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card; however, your card will not be charged. We will then contact our supplier to confirm that the product you have purchased is available for immediate shipment. Once confirmed, we will process the payment, and your order will be dispatched straight away. If there is any delay, such as an item being on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.

Order Delivery: Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and available for dispatch, we will charge your card, and your order will be dispatched within 5 working days. We’ll send you tracking details by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 6 working days, please reach out to us via email at info@solarvoxgreen.co.uk so that we can help.

Damages: We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@solarvoxgreen.co.uk so that we can open an insurance claim on your behalf.

Cancellations & Refunds: Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method used to place the order.
