This Limited Warranty is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty provided by Enphase Energy, Inc. (“Enphase”) for the following products (“Covered Products”):

  • Microinverters: IQ7, IQ7PLUS, IQ7X, IQ7A, and microinverters with SKU C250-72-2LN-S2 (all must be continuously connected to the internet via an Enphase Gateway).

  • Gateways: IQ Gateway, IQ Combiner+, IQ Combiner, IQ Commercial Envoy, Envoy-S Standard, Envoy-S Metered, and AC Combiner Box.

  • Other: IQ Aggregator, IQ Commercial Aggregator, Mobile Connect, and Consumption CT.

This warranty is in addition to your rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


UK Consumer Laws (Summary)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must:
(i) match their description,
(ii) be of satisfactory quality,
(iii) be fit for disclosed purposes.

Consumers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, discount, or refund. These rights are enforced against the seller, not the manufacturer. For purchases in England and Wales, these rights expire after six years; in Scotland, after five years from delivery.


Limited Warranty Coverage

This Limited Warranty applies only if the Covered Product:

  • Was purchased from Enphase or an Authorised Reseller,

  • Remains installed at the Original Location in the UK,

  • Is used by the original End User or a Transferee (who submitted a Change of Ownership Form and paid the fee within 30 days of transfer).
    Claim procedure: see Section 3 – RMA Process.

A product is considered “activated” when the system receives Permission to Operate from local authorities.

Repaired/replacement units are covered for the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days from receipt, whichever is later, provided the replacement is installed and connected to the internet within 45 days.


1. Warranty Exclusions

This Limited Warranty is void if:

  • The product is not registered and (for microinverters) not connected to the internet within 45 days of the Warranty Start Date.

  • The product is not installed/used as per official Enphase manuals or used in unsuitable conditions.

  • The defect occurs after the Warranty Period.

  • The product was altered, modified, misused, or damaged (including fire, flooding, lightning, overvoltage, or biological infestations).

  • The defect is caused by a third-party component in the solar system.

  • Identification markings or serial numbers are defaced or removed.

  • The grid profile of a microinverter was altered.

  • The defect occurred during shipping after the sale to an Authorised Reseller.

Also excluded:

  • Labour for installation/removal.

  • Cosmetic or design flaws that do not affect performance.

  • Theft or vandalism.

  • Troubleshooting of user electrical systems.

  • Software installed on the product or reinstallation of lost data.


2. Remedies

If a valid defect is confirmed:

  • Enphase will either:
    (i) repair or replace the product (with new or reconditioned parts),
    or
    (ii) issue a prorated credit or refund equal to the product’s current market value.

All decisions are at Enphase’s discretion.


3. RMA Process

Warranty claims must be submitted through the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process at:
www.enphase.com/warranty


4. Assignment

Enphase may assign or transfer its obligations under this warranty to a qualified third party.


5. Limitation of Liability

Enphase is not liable for:

  • Losses not caused by Enphase or not reasonably foreseeable.

  • Business losses (e.g., lost profits, interrupted operations).

However, Enphase’s liability is not limited for:

  • Death or personal injury due to negligence.

  • Fraud or misrepresentation.

  • Breach of your statutory consumer rights.

  • Any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.


6. Governing Law

For products purchased in:

  • England, Wales, or Northern Ireland: governed by the laws of England, with non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  • Scotland: governed by Scottish law, with non-exclusive jurisdiction of Scottish courts.


7. Severability

If any term is found invalid, the remainder of the warranty remains enforceable.

Delivery & Returns

Order Confirmation: As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card; however, your card will not be charged. We will then contact our supplier to confirm that the product you have purchased is available for immediate shipment. Once confirmed, we will process the payment, and your order will be dispatched straight away. If there is any delay, such as an item being on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.

Order Delivery: Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and available for dispatch, we will charge your card, and your order will be dispatched within 5 working days. We’ll send you tracking details by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 6 working days, please reach out to us via email at info@solarvoxgreen.co.uk so that we can help.

Damages: We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@solarvoxgreen.co.uk so that we can open an insurance claim on your behalf.

Cancellations & Refunds: Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method used to place the order.
