Fox ESS EP5 – 5.18kWh High Voltage LiFePO₄ Battery Module

The Fox ESS EP5 is a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery module designed for use with Fox hybrid and AC inverters. It provides high-voltage energy storage for residential and commercial solar systems and can operate in grid-tied, hybrid, or off-grid configurations.

The battery features 5.18kWh nominal energy capacity with 90% usable depth of discharge and round-trip efficiency above 95%. Up to four EP5 modules can be connected in parallel to achieve a total capacity of 20.8kWh.

The EP5 uses prismatic LiFePO₄ cells and includes integrated CAN communication and LED status indicators. It is IP65-rated for indoor or outdoor installation and operates with natural convection cooling.
