The Fox ESS EP5 is a high-performance lithium battery designed for seamless integration with Fox hybrid and AC inverters. Built using advanced LiFePO₄ prismatic cells, this high-voltage storage solution offers safe, efficient, and scalable energy storage for both residential and commercial solar systems.
With 90% depth of discharge and round-trip efficiency over 95%, the EP5 delivers maximum usable capacity and long-term reliability. The system can be expanded up to four modules in parallel, reaching a total of 20.8kWh of usable energy storage.
This battery is compatible with the full Fox ESS range including H1, KH, H3, and H3-Pro series, making it ideal for grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid installations where performance and flexibility are essential.

BATTERY WARRANTY POLICY

i. Scope of Warranty
FoxESS provides this limited warranty for its battery products (referred to as the Product(s) unless explicitly stated otherwise). FoxESS reserves the right to decline replacement if the terms of this Policy are breached. This Policy applies in all countries where the Product is sold through recognised FoxESS partners. Covered Products include: Mira HV25, HV2600, ECS2900, ECS4100, ECS4300H, ECS4800, EQ4800, EQ2900, EQ4300, EQ5000, EP3, EP5, EP11, EP5-H, EP11-H.
Please note: this warranty applies only to battery modules. Inverters and charge controllers are covered under a separate policy. This warranty does not cover external or ancillary parts unless stated otherwise. The Policy is not a guarantee of product durability or ability and applies only to the parties listed in section 2. It is effective only for purchases made after the policy’s effective date.
ii. Contracting Parties
This Policy is provided only to the original purchaser of the product from FoxESS (Purchaser), where the Purchaser is a distributor, solar retailer, or accredited electrician (Installer) who supplies the product to another party, or to the End-User where the product is installed.
iii. Warranty Period and Warranty Extension
The standard warranty period for all listed products is sixty (60) months from the installation date, or sixty-five (65) months from the date of manufacture (whichever comes first).
Free Warranty Extension
For ECS2900, ECS4100, ECS4300H, ECS4800, EQ4800, EQ2900, EQ4300, EQ5000: if registration is completed via the FoxESS website within thirty-six (36) months from the manufacturing date, and the product is connected to the Fox Cloud via a Fox datalogger, an additional eighty-four (84) months of warranty will be granted.
For Mira HV25, HV2600, EP3, EP5, EP11, EP5-H, EP11-H: under the same conditions, an additional sixty (60) months of warranty will be granted.
iv. Scope of Warranty
FoxESS’s liability under this Policy is limited to replacement, repair, refund, and compensation. Repaired or replaced products remain under the original performance warranty period. Replacement does not renew the original warranty term.
v. Performance Warranty Terms
For ECS2900, ECS4100, ECS4300H, ECS4800, EQ4800, EQ2900, EQ4300, EQ5000: warranty ensures the product retains at least 70% of nominal energy for 12 years from installation or until a minimum energy throughput is reached (whichever comes first).
For Mira HV25, HV2600, EP3, EP5, EP11, EP5-H, EP11-H: warranty ensures the product retains at least 70% of nominal energy for 10 years or until a minimum energy throughput is reached.
Nominal energy refers to the initial rated capacity printed on the product label. Warranty is valid only if:

vii. Limited Liability
Warranty does not cover damages caused by:

viii. Product Replacement and Compensation
If the Product is no longer available, FoxESS may replace it with an equivalent alternative. Functional and specification deviations may occur.
ix. Exclusions
This Policy does not apply to components not originally supplied by FoxESS, even if of the same brand and model.
x. Registration
Product registration is recommended to qualify under this Policy. It must be completed within thirty-six (36) months of installation, ideally within six (6) weeks. Required information:

FoxESS may request additional info or photos. An RMA Form must be submitted. Upon approval, a unique ticket number is issued and, subject to availability, a replacement will be dispatched within 3 working days. The faulty unit must be returned to FoxESS within 30 days after replacement, or service rebate eligibility will be forfeited.
If the returned unit is not faulty or excluded from warranty, a flat inspection fee or replacement cost will be charged. All replacements must be approved by FoxESS in advance.
xii. Further Rights at Law
In addition to this warranty, consumers have statutory rights which cannot be excluded under local laws.

Damages: We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@solarvoxgreen.co.uk so that we can open an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds: Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method used to place the order.
