UK & Ireland Fox Warranty Policy (Inverters & Chargers)
i. Scope of Warranty
Fox provides the following limited and extended warranty for inverters and charge controllers (herein referred to as the Product(s) unless explicitly stated otherwise) produced/provided by Fox. Fox, under its own discretion, has the right to decline the replacement of the device if the terms and conditions of the Policy are breached. This Warranty Policy (the “Policy”) is applicable in all countries where the Product is sold through recognised Fox partners. The Products included in this Policy are: S Series, F Series, T Series, G Series, V Series, K Series, R Series, Hybrid Series, AC Series, AIO Series, PowerQ Series.
Please note, this warranty policy covers Fox Products as specified herein. Where batteries are supplied separately with a Fox inverter or charger, please refer to the relevant battery warranty policy. This warranty is limited to the Fox inverter/charger range only and does not cover any external or ancillary parts. Any ancillary parts or add-on devices supplied by Fox may be covered by a separate warranty policy.
This Policy shall not be held as a guarantee of the product's durability, nor does it include any implied product ability. The Policy is limited to the parties listed in Section 2.
ii. Contracting Parties
This Policy is provided only to the original purchaser of the Product from Fox (Purchaser), where the Purchaser is a distributor, solar retailer, or accredited electrician (Installer), who on-supplies the Product to another party, or to that other party (End-User) where the Product is installed.
iii. Warranty Period and Warranty Extension
The Policy provides warranty cover as outlined below:
Standard Warranty: The Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of sixty (60) months from the date of installation, but no more than sixty-five (65) months from the date of manufacture of the Product (whichever comes first).
Free Warranty Extension:
For S Series, F Series, T Series, G Series, V Series, K Series, R Series, Hybrid Series, and AC Series – if the Product registration is successfully completed via the Fox website within thirty-six (36) months from the date of manufacture and the device is successfully registered on the Fox Cloud platform using a Fox datalogger, an additional sixty (60) months of warranty will be granted.
For PowerQ – under the same registration conditions as above, an additional eighty-four (84) months of warranty will be granted.
Note: The Free Warranty Extension is not available for the AIO series.
FoxPro (Extended Warranty): The Product may be eligible for a paid FoxPro warranty extension, available for purchase within thirty-six (36) months from the commissioning date. If the product is replaced, the unexpired warranty is transferred to the replacement product.
iv. Policy Claim Eligibility
Only the Installer and authorised Fox personnel are eligible to make claims under this Policy. If the Installer has ceased operations or if the site is remote, the End-User or Installer may appoint a Local Installer at their own discretion and expense. Service rebate eligibility is outlined in Sections 5 and 6.
v. Limited Liability
Warranty claims will not be accepted for damage caused by: inadequate ventilation; improper installation or use; incorrect wiring; physical misuse; incompatible connectors; damage from other system components; force majeure events; transportation damage; cosmetic issues; unauthorised repairs or reinstallations; failure to follow claim procedures or installation manuals.
If the claim is validated by Fox-authorised personnel, Fox may repair the product on-site or at a designated service centre, or provide the closest equivalent product for replacement. Replacements may differ in specification and size. Refurbished parts may be used.
vi. Exclusions
This Policy does not cover components not initially supplied by Fox, even if identical in manufacturer and model to those Fox provides.
vii. Registration
Product registration is required to qualify under this Policy and to receive the free warranty extension. Products should be registered within thirty-six (36) months of installation, but preferably within six (6) weeks of commissioning. Required information for registration via the Fox website includes: product model, serial number, installation date, customer name, postal/zip code, full address, and installer company name.
viii. Warranty Claim Process
In case of a fault, the Installer must contact Fox with the following: name of the Installer, product model number, fault code, fault description, and contact details. Additional details or photos may be requested. An RMA Form must be submitted with all evidence. A unique ticket number will be assigned to track the claim. Subject to product availability, Fox aims to approve and dispatch a replacement within three working days. The faulty product must be shipped back to Fox within thirty (30) days after receiving the replacement.
If the returned product is found not to be defective or if the fault is excluded under Section 5, Fox will charge an inspection fee or recover the full cost of the replacement. Any replacement issued without Fox’s approval will invalidate the claim.
ix. Further Rights at Law
This warranty does not limit the statutory rights of the End-User or Installer under United Kingdom consumer law. Products from Fox come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Order Confirmation: As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card; however, your card will not be charged. We will then contact our supplier to confirm that the product you have purchased is available for immediate shipment. Once confirmed, we will process the payment, and your order will be dispatched straight away. If there is any delay, such as an item being on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.
Order Delivery: Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and available for dispatch, we will charge your card, and your order will be dispatched within 5 working days. We’ll send you tracking details by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 6 working days, please reach out to us via email at info@solarvoxgreen.co.uk so that we can help.
Damages: We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@solarvoxgreen.co.uk so that we can open an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds: Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method used to place the order.
