1. Scope of Warranty
This warranty applies only within the European market and covers the following products:

Wi-Fi/GPRS monitoring module: 5-year warranty
BD, XD series hybrid inverters: 5-year warranty
MG, BG, XG series solar grid-tied inverters: 10-year warranty
XN series solar off-grid inverters: 1-year warranty

The warranty period starts 6 months after the date of delivery from the INVT factory and is subject to the formal sales contract. If no contract is signed, this document serves as the governing warranty terms.

For grid-tied inverters: the 10-year warranty applies only to products purchased from 01/06/2022 onwards.

The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser or INVT-authorised distributor, solar retailer, or installer.

2. Warranty Process
In the event of a fault not covered by exclusions, follow these steps:

Complete the Service Claim Form, including:

• Product model and serial number

• System configuration (panel strings, layout, grid details)

• Fault description (error code, display message, photos/videos)

Provide a copy of the invoice or warranty certificate

Contact INVT service staff or an authorised service agency and submit the Service Claim Form along with supporting materials

INVT will respond with a solution within 48 hours on working days

INVT reserves the right to reject incomplete claims. The customer assumes responsibility for any resulting loss or consequence

3. Service Provision
If a product defect is confirmed during the valid warranty period, INVT may offer:

On-site service or remote technical support
Shipment of spare parts with guidance for customer-side replacement
Return of the product to the nearest INVT repair centre
Replacement with an equivalent model (remaining warranty is transferred to the new unit)

Defective units must be returned in their original packaging

4. Transportation Terms
For valid warranty claims: INVT covers freight; customer is responsible for customs clearance
For expired or void warranties: customer bears all related transportation and handling costs

5. Warranty Extension
INVT offers paid extended warranty services if all conditions are met:

For inverters ≥25kW: must apply within 12 months from manufacture date
For inverters <25kW: must apply within 30 months from manufacture date
Product must be purchased directly from factory or official distributor

Required for extension:

• Proof of purchase

• Product serial number

• Completed application form

Once processed, INVT will issue a Warranty Extension Certificate

No extension is available after the time window expires. Refer to the extension policy for full terms

6. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover defects resulting from:

Use outside the Operating Manual specifications
Unauthorised repair or reconstruction
Storage-related damage
Environmental conditions causing abnormal aging
Force majeure (earthquake, storm, lightning, fire, flood, abnormal voltage, etc.)
Transportation damage or loss
Misuse, negligence, or operation outside standard application range

7. Consumer Rights
This warranty does not limit or replace statutory rights under European Consumer Law. Consumers are entitled to:

Replacement or refund in case of major failure
Compensation for foreseeable losses
Repair or replacement for goods not meeting acceptable quality standards
